This one wants to know,
what you want to have the most.
Is it something small and modest,
or something you would proudly boast.
This one wants to hear,
your fondest wish aloud.
Whether it be down to earth,
or higher than the clouds.
What is it you wish this time of year,
and is it something that is needed?
To turn back bad decisions?
Or take advice that was not heeded?
It is an over used cliche now,
only because it holds so much worth.
This ones only wish now,
is harmony and peace on earth.
Alas that wish seems far away,
even though it's what we need.
The cause of the so much war and suffering,
is ultimately human greed.
And so this year this one implores you,
before you wish for something material,
that you think of reality right now,
instead of dreams ethereal.
The wish for peace and harmony is possible,
it is a wish that CAN come true.
Know the season now is time for action,
for true peace and harmony.....starts with you.
