My angel has not flown away; I just can no longer see her. My hero has not fallen; she has just risen to a higher plane. My loving mother still loves me; she just is unable to tell me in this world. My love for her lives forever, my heart just has a piece missing. My memories of our time together will always be cherished; I just must learn to make more memories while remembering her. This one has never seen so much potential for death before today.  By now everyone has heard of the tsunami generated by the 8.9 quake that has level Japan and killed hundreds.  Hearing about it is one thing.....actually seeing it is another.  As this one lay in bed awake at home in Wailuku, Maui, the immediate effects of the approaching tsunami could be seen everywhere.  When it finally hit at 3:00 am all that could be done was wonder if someone whom was known or loved had just been inundated by a wall of sea water.  How many would die in Hawaii, in the same terrible way that the people of Sendai did? And yet by the graces of our ancestors

This one......I have obviously been absent in posting new artwork for a very long time.  Reason being that I have been working on yet another book's illustrations and have successfully published it in time for the holidays.  This book "Nai'a to the Rescue" covers the importance of never giving up as well as the dangers that marine pollution poses to all life in the ocean.  I hope that the success of the book is not in profit, but in the education of the next generation to take a stand for restoring the e
